Mine Rider - how to play

Mine Rider requires good concentration and intensive use of available devices. Point is to pick up the treasure, locked up behind massive iron bars, as fast as possible to get bonus points for that level. There are four gates surrounding the cage full of gold, treasure was lost after unfortunate death of miners who digged it up. But their souls are still alive and thier ghosts are still guiding the treasure. In order to unlock the gates four keys have to be found, one for each side of the mine. Northern ghost hides key for norhtern gate, eastern ghost eastern key, etc. To bit the ghost (on the radar ghost is a white, moving point) you have to click on it, that will reveal the position of his key. Ghost becomes visible when you aproach close enough, be carefull about them, they are not dangerous but very confusing. Depending of the situation catching them can be very easy but it is usually not, concentrate when they are around. After you prevailed the ghost you'll see the position of his key on the radar, red point, go and get it, just pass through it and adequate gate will be opened. Again, depending of the luck, significant amount of circling around can be necessary, try to do it fastest possible. After northern gate is opened repeat this for eastern gate and so on. If all four gates were opened, gold is yours, go and get it to pass to the next level. Picking up the gold is the same as picking the key, just ride through it. In some circumstances it is possible to pick up the treasure with only two gates opened but you should take care about what gates are unlocked in that case. After each level basic speed is increased and so the bonus, number of levels is unlimited.

To acomplish the task easier you have few devices available, most immportant of which is the radar placed at upper left corner of the screen. White point, moving randomly across the radar screen represents the ghost, that is the target to catch up. After ghost was catched you will see red point, the key. Green point on the radar is your position, position of your vehicle precisely. Yellow, blinking, point is the position of the cage, you should avoid this before all gates are opened.

There is also a compas alike device to help in orientation, when the blue arow matches 'N' you are going North - it is up on the radar screen, 'W' is West - it is left on the radar, etc.

Another usefull device is ghost locator, it can be very effective, if you are close enough to the ghost you can follow it using this gadget, but keep an eye on the radar for the case. Ghost sometimes tends to lead you in the trap, ie. it can lead you to the treasure before all gates are opened or to the wall surrounding the mine.
